Caramel Apple Sundae Pie

Directions

1Melt 4 tablespoons of butter; mix with wafer crumbs and granulated sugar until well blended. Press mixture firmly onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate.

2Drizzle 1/2 cup of caramel topping evenly on prepared crust. Top with scoops of ice cream.

3Freeze 4 hours or until ready to serve.

4Cook apple pieces in remaining 2 tablespoons butter and brown sugar in large skillet on medium heat 5 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring frequently. Cool.

5Spoon apples over pie and drizzle with remaining 1/4 cup topping just before serving.

*Substitute 25 finely crushed Nabisco Ginger Snaps for Nilla Wafers.
