Sweet and Sour Beef Stew

We enjoy this stew with egg rolls.

  • Yields: 6 to 8 Servings

Directions

1Cut beef stew meat into 3/4 to 1-inch cubes

2Place beef stew meat and frozen vegetables into slow cooker

3Stir in water, soup, sweet and sour sauce, and red pepper

4Cover and cook for 11 hours on low setting or about 5 1/2 hours on high setting

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat

1 16-oz package loose-pack frozen stew vegetables

2 10 3/4-oz cans of condensed beefy mushroom soup

1/2 cup bottled sweet and sour sauce

1/2 cup water

1/8 tsp ground red pepper
